Even more horrifyingly, this seems to have 'gone meta', with those who claim to be able to see through the brainwashing often falling for it harder. Libertarian bootlicks. Free-speech book-banners. People who believe privately-educated born millionaires have the interests of the working man at heart. Those who demand a Small Government Police State!

And now we have trump perfectly fulfilling the 1984 'War is Peace' quote, almost word-for-word... and the sort of tinfoil-hatted fools who repeatedly quote 1984 out of context continue to cheer Big Brother Donny on! A born-millionaire real-estate swindler who lives in a golden tower who, apparently, is here to save the working man (by adding hundreds of dollars to his monthly bills through tariffs!). Conspiracists are now celebrating as the direct warnings of one of their spiritual godfathers comes true regarding militarised oppression of protests right at the crux of a pointless new war come true under their glorious leader trump.

People who have clearly never read 1984 and think its entire message is "lots of cameras everywhere" will quote it to you out of context whilst BEGGING the state to have more power, and the people fewer rights, just so the government has more scope to be nasty to foreigners. Its incredible that there are a lot of people who throw around the word 'Orwellian' willy-nilly, yet are actively begging the state to decrease our rights and freedoms!

Killing 20,000 children MINIMUM is called "self defence" but painting the engine of a plane red is 'terrorism'. Do those toddlers not experience 'terror' as they bleed out surrounded by their dismembered families? We have conservatives who support the prison industrial complex, cops, soldiers, tarrifs, border guards, prohibition, forced birthing, and prescriptive marriage laws claiming to be 'small government'! They literally cannot see how much they LOVE government, they just don't want it building any schools or hospitals!

In the whitehouse, we now have 'free speech' crusaders who are banning books and going through university syllabi with a fine tooth comb trying to wipe out facts which don't support the establishment's version of history! And they are either being ignored or actively supported by the 'fwee speech' crusaders who actaully only ever wanted to use racist slurs whilst silencing anyone who called them an asshole for doing so!

What IS truly, deeply depressing to see people who claim to be able to see through mainstream lies and rebel against them falling into the same trap even harder! People who say "wake up sheeple", then fall for the transparent lies of the most obvious snake oil salesmen in the world.

There seems to be a whole section of society who have bought inot the surface appearance of rebellion whilst somehow remaining utterly ignorant to even the slightest understanding of its meaning. People who have adored bands like Rage Against The Machine and System of a Down, then one day, the penny drops and they go... oooh right, this is political?! Don't like it now! Like buying a bag of sugar and complaining that its sweet.

People flying Gadsden flags AND thin blue line flags.... ffs, numbnuts - who do you think it is that does the treading?! Its the police, dimwit! Individual politicians and bosses lack the physical means to 'tread on you', its their frontline troops - i.e. cops - who actually enforce the oppressions which the corporations and the parties command! How can anyone simultaneously fly a libertarian flag AND suck up to the police without dying of an irony hemorrhage is a mystery to me, yet thousands manage to!

People who genuinely see farage - a privately-educated, shit-stirring City of London stockbroker as 'anti-establishment', just because the mainstream, right-heavy media told them so! farage has the tacit support of the sun, TalkTV, star, mail, telegraph and spectator. He has the DIRECT and explicit support of the Express and GB News, and has been platformed more by the BBC than any other politician. You don't get to support this man and complain about the 'mainstream media' bias. His opinions match those of the majority of mainstream papers exactly, and the Express even got him to write a front-page article entitled 'Why You Must Vote Ukip"! Faragists are establishment drones cos-playing as edgy rebels.

The number of people who believe EXACTLY what the above newspapers want them to believe regarding wokeness, war, immigration, 'lefties', and everything else.... whilst simultaneously claiming to be too clever to be fooled by the 'mainstream media' is staggering. farage and his cabal of charlatans supported every single bad decision the Tories made, for 14 years. He praised the Truss calamity as "the best budget since 1986"! And yet many people have genuinely drunk so much kool-aid they see this as an 'alternative'?!
